Leadership team

I studied for a BA Hons in Physical Education at the University of Bangor in 2005. I have taught in several different year groups from Nursery to Year 3. I lived and taught in Padova in Italy for two years and it was there that I developed my passion for the Early Years.

I hold the qualification for NPQSL and this has supported me in leading a very successful EYFS department here at Greatwood.

Our approach to EYFS here is a child-led curriculum where our skilful practitioners move learning on through high-quality interactions. The outdoors is a driver for our school and we carefully link this in with our local community and culture capital opportunities wherever possible.

I practise yoga and live a very healthy lifestyle, I can often be found reading a good book and am proud to live in the local community.
